Our Story
Abu Lawrence Catering & Prepared Meals is a family-run business with roots in two cultures. We specialize in traditional Jordanian cuisine, with a few American twists. As a special needs teacher from Jordan, I met my American wife while we were both teaching in a small Bedouin village. After getting married and having a baby, we moved to my wife's hometown of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. I began cooking Jordanian meals for our family after becoming homesick for my mother's cooking. With her help I learned all the traditional recipes, and I am now able to share these special recipes with the world.
